I am Professor of English at Salem State University, where I have taught since 1992. My specialty is composition theory and practice, with a current emphasis on multimedia and new media discourse. I am a frequent presenter at national writing conferences, and I am the author of Casting your Net (Allyn and Bacon) and Allyn and Bacon's Quick Guide to the Internet for Composition (with Doug Gotthoffer).
